Privacy Policy
Effective October 15, 2026. How RoastPin handles information when you explore Alaska coffee shops or use an account.
Who operates RoastPin
RoastPin America is operated by Apricity Group LLC. The app offers a public Alaska coffee directory and optional customer and merchant accounts. Questions about this notice can be submitted through our operator contact page.
Information you choose to provide
If you register or sign in, the authentication provider processes account identifiers and login information. Depending on what you use, RoastPin may store a user identifier, saved places, coffee reviews and ratings, loyalty activity, business claims, merchant profiles, business event submissions, and support-related correspondence. Information submitted publicly, such as an approved review or business listing, may be visible to other visitors.
Location and device information
The map is available without registering. If you tap Find Me and grant browser location access, RoastPin uses your coordinates to help center the map. The current map implementation keeps those coordinates in the active page state rather than saving a location history. Your browser or operating system controls location permission. Map imagery and directions can involve third-party services that receive network requests and may process location or device information under their own policies.
Analytics, authentication and external services
RoastPin uses Base44 for application hosting, authentication and data operations; map display uses OpenFreeMap/OpenStreetMap-related data. The application also includes analytics functionality in its hosting integration. Google, Apple, Microsoft, or Facebook may process account information if you choose their sign-in options, where enabled. Apple Maps, Google Maps, and other external sites are governed by their own privacy terms when you follow those links.
How information is used
We use the information to provide the directory; operate login, accounts, favorites, business verification, events and loyalty features; prevent fraud or abuse; respond to requests; troubleshoot the service; and understand app performance. We do not require an account merely to browse the public map or coffee directory.
Sharing and visibility
Public business information and approved community contributions are displayed to visitors. Authorized merchants can access information needed for their own loyalty and business tools, subject to server-side permissions. Providers may process data to operate the service. We do not present private loyalty credentials, account deletion controls or administration tools as public directory data.
Retention, deletion and choices
Information is retained while needed for the relevant feature, security, recordkeeping, or applicable legal obligations. You can stop using location access through device/browser settings. Signed-in non-administrator account holders can initiate account deletion through Delete Account, which removes associated customer records handled by RoastPin's deletion workflow. Business owners must transfer active ownership before deleting their account. Some records may need to be retained where legally required. For requests outside the automated workflow, contact the operator.
Children and policy changes
RoastPin is a general-audience coffee discovery service, not a service directed to children. We may revise this notice as features, providers or legal requirements change. The current notice will be posted here with its effective date.
This notice describes features identified in the current app implementation. Before store submission, the operator must verify all connected providers and complete the Apple and Google data-disclosure forms accurately.
