RoastPin Community Terms & Review Rules
Effective September 1, 2026
These terms govern community submissions to RoastPin, including coffee-shop ratings, missing-shop suggestions, listing corrections, and reports. By submitting community content, you agree to these rules.
1. Keep reviews genuine
Submit ratings based on your own experience. Do not manipulate ratings, coordinate fake reviews, impersonate another person, submit reviews for compensation, or intentionally misrepresent a business or visit.
2. Structured reviews only
RoastPin does not publish free-form consumer review comments or reviewer profiles. Published review input is limited to bounded 1–5 scores, approved wait-time selections, optional price/return information, and a fixed allowlist of quick tags. Unsupported text and values are rejected by the review service.
3. No abusive or unlawful conduct
Do not use RoastPin submissions to harass, threaten, deceive, discriminate, infringe intellectual property, expose private information, promote illegal activity, or interfere with the service. RoastPin may remove content, restrict submissions, suspend accounts, or preserve limited records when reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or enforcement.
4. Moderation and reporting
Coffee-shop additions and corrections are reviewed before changing public listings. Structured ratings may be reported from the relevant shop card. Reports are sent to RoastPin for review and appropriate action. Because RoastPin does not expose reviewer identities or user-to-user messaging, consumers cannot contact individual reviewers; users can hide community rating content for a location on their own device.
5. Business listings
Business names, addresses, websites, phone numbers, and other directory information identify third-party businesses. A listing does not imply sponsorship or endorsement. Submit corrections when information appears inaccurate, moved, or closed.
6. Accounts and deletion
An account is not required to browse or save coffee shops, but a signed-in account is required to publish a review. Account deletion is available in My RoastPin and through the public deletion page. See the Privacy Policy for data handling and limited-retention disclosures.
7. Changes and enforcement
RoastPin may update these rules as the service changes or store/legal requirements evolve. Continued community participation after an update is subject to the then-current rules shown in the app.
